ABOUT SARA BURKE

I'm Sara Burke and I'm passionate about helping children discover their strengths. My philosophy of education is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.  I believe that there are several essential elements that are conducive to this: (1)  The teacher's role is to act as a guide. (2) Students need access to hands-on activities. (3) Students should have opportunities to approach educational opportunities in their own unique ways.  (4) Students within a community should treat eachother with respect.  My approach to education focuses on giving children open ended opportunities to explore their talents in a safe environment.  Through shared learning experiences, the children that attend BAMM become like family.​
